claude-mem is a Claude Code plugin that automatically captures everything Claude does during a coding session and compresses it into a searchable memory store. After each session, it runs the transcript through an LLM compression step that extracts the key decisions, code patterns, and context — discarding the noise. The next time you start a session, it surfaces relevant past context automatically. The problem it solves is real: Claude Code has no persistent memory across sessions. Every new session starts cold.
