context-mode is an MCP server that solves one of the most painful problems in long AI coding sessions: context window exhaustion. Instead of dumping raw tool outputs (like a full Playwright snapshot at 56KB) directly into the model's context, context-mode intercepts those outputs, stores them in SQLite with BM25 full-text search, and only surfaces the relevant fragments when the agent queries for them. The result, according to the author's benchmarks, is a 98% reduction in context consumption during extended sessions.
