The break point comes at scale — admin controls and team memory are table-stakes features that Anthropic shipped late, and any enterprise IT buyer is going to ask why they're not just using the tool that's already in their M365 contract. This survives 12 months if Anthropic keeps the model quality lead; it loses if Microsoft closes the capability gap, which they're actively trying to do.”
