Astra is a security layer for AI agents that prevents sensitive data from ever reaching a language model. It tokenizes Protected Health Information (PHI), Payment Card Industry data (PCI), and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) before they enter the agent's context. The agent reasons on safe placeholder tokens, then Astra swaps them back for real values at execution time—so the LLM never actually sees a credit card number, SSN, or patient record. The integration is deliberately minimal: two lines of code, framework-agnostic, works with any agent stack.
