NVIDIA announced its open-source Agent Toolkit at GTC 2026, a modular software stack designed to help enterprises build and deploy autonomous AI agents at scale. The four-layer architecture includes Nemotron (open agentic reasoning models), AI-Q (a hybrid blueprint that routes tasks between frontier models and local Nemotron models claiming 50%+ cost reduction), OpenShell (a policy-based security runtime), and cuOpt (an optimization skill library). Seventeen enterprise companies — including Adobe, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Siemens, CrowdStrike, Atlassian, Palantir, Box, Cisco, and Red Hat — launched as day-one adopters. The toolkit is live on build.nvidia.com and supported across AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
