CC-Beeper is a native macOS SwiftUI widget that sits on your desktop and tracks Claude Code in real time. Instead of leaving a terminal window open just to monitor agent status, you get a compact floating pager that animates through eight distinct states — Snoozing, Working, Done, Error, Allow?, Input?, Listening, and Recap — using pixel-art characters that make the whole thing oddly delightful. The tool hooks into Claude Code by registering seven hook scripts in ~/.claude/settings.json and binding to a local port in the 19222–19230 range. All communication stays on localhost with zero external connections.
