Google opened its Deep Research and Deep Research Max agents to developers via the Gemini API, running on Gemini 3.1 Pro. Goose is an open-source, extensible AI agent originally built by Block (formerly Square) and recently donated to the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) under the Linux Foundation.
