The DX bet is that developers want a thin API with camera semantics baked in rather than wrestling with low-level motion vectors, and that bet is largely correct. First-10-minutes test: API key, one POST, get a job ID back, poll for completion — that's a clean loop. My gripe is the polling model instead of webhooks being the default; that's lazy infrastructure design. Still, the camera control API is a real primitive, not a wrapper around "make it look cinematic," and that earns the ship.”
