The DX bet is that visualizing the execution graph and making state inspectable at each node is worth the cost of being in the LangChain ecosystem. That bet is correct. The moment of truth is when you hit a weird agent loop at 2am and you can replay the exact run and watch where state diverged — that's genuinely valuable. My reservation: the one-click cloud deploy is only useful if you're already on LangSmith, which means the value prop compounds inside the LangChain stack but offers almost nothing to developers who've rolled their own orchestration.”
